Don’t Finish What You Started – Do This Instead!

Last week I suggested that the one thing you must do if you want to be successful, in anything is to START.

Lots of people I meet, talk about big dreams they have, but they are often attached to a word that will almost guarantee they will never come to life…SOMEDAY!

We all know someone who started something and didn’t follow through. In fact most of us have done it. We start something, with great enthusiasm, only to fizzle out.

And don’t get me started about New Years Resolutions…did you know that the majority of them are abandoned before January is over?

If You Want to Be Successful in Anything…You Must Do This!

Back in February of this year, I decided it was time to be more intentional about my health. I exercised off and on, but nothing regularly, and my diet was not great. My staple foods were 4 slices of toast every day for lunch, and cereal before bed…not ideal.

How to Apply The Five Vantage Point Perspectives to Your life

My hope in writing Vantage Point: Five Perspectives to Live a Better Story, was to encourage and inspire readers to reflect, and apply these perspectives, take action and pursue a life of meaning and purpose.

So What Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up?

When I was 5 years old, I wanted to be a garbage man. I remember as a kid running out to the street when I heard the truck in the neighbourhood. I thought, “How cool it would be to ride around on the back of a truck all day.” (I tended to be a neat freak even at a young age, so maybe that was part of the attraction too, who knows.)

That dream never materialized, and honestly, it’s just as well. Today, the waste collection operators rarely leave the cab of the truck…what a bore.
